Note to Sen. Pryor: Employee Free Choice Act Is Unpopular In Arkansas
Thursday, May 14th, 2009 by AdminSen. Mark Pryor was one of the first Democrats to signal misgivings about the Employee Free Choice Act. It turns out there’s reason for him to be concerned (beyond the policy nightmare that would take away secret ballots and impose government arbitrators). A new poll shows that 65 percent of those in Arkansas oppose EFCA — including 52 percent who say they “strongly oppose” the bill. Also noteworthy: 74 percent of Independents oppose the bill.

I suggest that everyone actually read the text of the National Labor Relations Act and the text of the Employee Free Choice Act. If you oppose it and have not read it, it may be possible that you are one who does not look into what you hear before repeating it OR you are one of those who purposely deceive the public in order to insure that the corporate and financial elite maintain their control over their employees as well as the voting public at large. Once you read it, you will wonder…why would they lie?

The text of the EFCA reads — CLEARLY — “the Board shall not direct an election” once 50% +1 of employees have signed a card. They never get a real election, and the other employees certainly never will.
Before anyone tries the whole “you either are ignorant or disagree with me” line of argument, get your own facts straight.
