Leading Card Check Voice To Rally Netroots Nation

Remember how we told you that liberal activists hope to use the un-democratic, anti-jobs, anti-business bill known euphemistically as the Employee Free Choice Act to make conservatism an endangered species? Well, the picture is becoming even more clear now. It looks like leading SEIU official Anna Burger will be speaking at the event slated for later this week in Pittsburgh.

We’re sure she will get the crowd whipped up well — but we aren’t as confident they will be informed about EFCA’s threat to jobs, its threat to democracy, or SEIU’s own record of union busting, union raiding, and hypocrisy.

Labor Official Misses The Mark Again and Again…

Glenn Spencer over at Chamberpost.com reports: “Arkansas State AFL-CIO head Alan Hughes misses the mark not once, not twice, but thrice in today’s Texarkana Gazette.”

Card Check Pops Up Again In VA Gov Race

Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell again raised the issue of card check in his state when he gave the GOP’s weekly radio address this weekend. Saying ” We must do everything we can to keep and grow jobs in Virginia and in every state in our country,” McDonnell added “That’s why we have fought against the job-killing ‘card check’ legislation that is being pushed by big national labor unions and Democrats in Congress.”
